respuesta support Monument | Photos | Support My experiences In Colombia after building the monument, and witnessing so much pain, suffer, courage, poverty and injustice, have made me decide to try and help the community as much as I can, a community that tries to survive amongst the violence that surrounds them. Solidarity took the shape of a collection, to support the education of children. Children are the future and deserve a better childhood without fear or war, and a possibility for development. We collected about 5000 euros.

In June 2003, we (Marian Janssen who helped me with the language and so much more and I)
went back to Cacarica. We bought a tremendous amount of school material and
brought it to the villages. We paid for the journey ourselves so that al the
money could be used for Cavida. Marian and I will keep on fighting for this
beautiful peace community and support them in every possible way. My road will
bring me back to the jungle of Colombia, quietly hoping for 2005. Again I will
collect money to help them, maybe you would like to join? Consider it an
investment for humanity.
